That Dreadful Day

There will come a day where my blog will blow up and that's the day I'm most concerned about.

If there's anything that Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram has taught me over the course of the past decade and some change is that people are weird as hell and the majority is desperate for attention. It seems as if the last five years people have really flocked to the internet to be someone who they really aren't in their everyday life. That's where you have all of the good folks who decide they want to spread their semantics or find support for their semantics with others. They hid behind the veil of fake profiles and loose tongues, and that's the hardest part about dealing with unwanted attention.

In this world there is always going to be at least one person who genuinely disagrees with you. That's what I've been told since I can remember and that's why for the most part when someone doesn't agree with something that I do or I don't with something that they do, I gloss over it and carry on with my life. That's what makes us so special, the fact that we all can form an opinion and that we all have different outlooks on life. I respect even the dumbest of fools for their opinions and I don't try to change them; (well not anymore at least). Instead what I do is simply be me; that's all I can do at this point of my life.

It's 2016 and the world is acting like it's 1966.

People are still racist and trying to sweep slavery under the run like it's never happened; (I see you Texas). The middle east is in worse shape than it's ever been and there are people dying all over the world what seems like to be an everyday thing. Honestly when you look at movies and you see all of those scenarios where the world basically collapses into a sinking black hole, this is probably what it looked like in the beginning. And one of the things that seems to making it worse is the fact there are people on the internet, in comments sections and posts on Facebook going on and on in the most idiotic of ways about how this world is better off with one group ruling over the others.

Yes there are still racist bigots in this world.

But I say all of that to say whenever my blog goes viral or blows up because of particular post, I'm not too sure how long I'll be around after that point. I'm a fairly private person and I don't really participate in too many public dealings anymore. The main and only reason for that is because my life is filled with nothing but positivity and less stress. Having my blog gain all kinds of attention is the whole reason to making my blog into what it is today. But stopping to think about what the negative comments from those people who are truly dumb or unhappy with their lives is really going to be annoying.

I mean I can handle the comments and all because they're just words to me, (and if ever the day someone finds it in their heart that they want to come face to face with me and spew racist nonsense, well I hope Jesus is with them on that day), I'd just rather not deal with it. I know there will come a point where I don't want to deal with that type of nonsense and I'll gladly move on to other ventures in life. But for now I'm enjoying writing and having people discuss things in a common sense type of way.

I just hope in the future I'll learn to be patient and steer through the nonsense and bullshit a little better than I am anticipating my reaction to be. I don't think it will be THAT bad in the end, but as of right now, I'm not with the shits lol.
