Well that was quick lol.
Here we are, in April already, with half of the year gone. Just seems like yesterday we were talking about how cold it was and now here comes the pollen and 83° weather. I mean I'm not complaining at all, I'm glad spring is here finally. There is a lot of things to look forward to this month, so let's get into it and see shall we?
Well first and foremost for me on the menu is my new job. For the people that know me, getting a new job isn't that big of a deal, it's the fact that I'm going to keep my current full time job in hopes that I can save money quicker towards my goal of a great birthday trip, (details about that later). Plus I like making money and I feel as though I'm in a good position to do both without too much negative bearing on my personal life. I mean after all while I was in the military I did work 16 hour days for 12+ days in row all of the time. With minimal impact to my body in terms of having to move around, I should be crisp as rain for both opportunities.
While this does sound like it's going to take away from my blogging, it most certainly won't. I already have my blog post schedule done for the month in addition to having a particular method that allows me to write all of my posts for the week on a certain day; (another reason I cut back from five posts a week to three). So all those worried about not seeing any content from me, don't worry at all, there will be the same posting schedule as always. In fact I plan on upping the type of content seeing as how I feel I've been going too easy as of late.
I have to come with boom from here on out.
Speaking of menus and such, I'm officially on that diet I always talk about in so many posts lol. I was actually put on front street about it and instead of catching a tude or getting sad about what has happened to my body, I decided to make a change. First comes the diet change and then the working out part. I can't really invest too much into the working out aspect at the moment with the pending new job, so changing my diet is going to be the most extreme thing I can do. I have a ton of motivation this time around, so expect some positive results for when I do my May update.
Blogging wise it was a decent month for me.
I was pretty relaxed this month, (even missing two days), but I still managed to crack 200,000 page views. I'm really proud of that feet considering what all I had to do to get to that number. The next big number I'm looking forward to is 300,000, and seems like I'm on a nice pace to get it this year. For those who don't know, I said that once I reached a 1,000,000 views here on this blog I would consider making some major changes and overhauling the site. It's becoming easier and more exciting to think about as I progress through my blogging career.
Also you'll see couple of different posts highlight different blogs, podcasts * vlogs that I like to check out from time to time. Not only am I going to do that because I like supporting people, but also because I like to add some variety, things you probably want to hear me talk about, but I simply don't lol. These people that I'm going to share are pretty great and they'll definitely keep you as entertained as I am most of the time.
It's all about growth.
Other than those tidbits above, life is pretty great. I've been taking it one day at time and remaining aggressive in the things that I do in terms of personal growth and career growth. The recent advancements that I've made in my life made me realize that I have a testament to share, but I'm not going to do so until later this year when I can properly gauge my achievements against the time in my life where I was rock bottom. So that post will be pretty exciting and fun.
But as always if you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them in the comment section below.
Until next time guys!
