The Divergent Series: Allegiant Movie Review

I liked this movie, somewhat.

For the most part this series has been a little on the lackluster side of things when it comes to movie franchises. It's not as girly as Twilight, but yet it can't seem to separate itself from the Hunger Games type of movie. It's three movies in and it has yet to have that moment where it shows why it was green lit to be made into a movie. Personally I enjoyed the series enough to where I want to watch it again, but like I said before, it hasn't had it's moment just yet.

Visually the movie is great looking, it spared no expense with the cinematography. But yet I found myself muddling along while watching it, waiting for something really exciting to happen. To be honest, I got excited to find out that the world isn't completely dead and that there are people still alive out there who are struggling to get by. Revealing the true purpose of everything is really what makes this movie worthwhile. I think the ending will be better than the other movies because it has a clear big bad and it has a whole bunch of other things going for it.

As for this movie it's not too much to say about it except that I give it a solid C because while it didn't suck, it didn't do anything for me to be blown out of the water or want to watch it again at a later date. I might binge watch all of them together, but as for now, I'll chalk it in the transitional movie category. That's about as much as I can say about it at the moment.

Have you seen this movie? If so, leave it in the comments below.

Until next time!
