Maggie Movie Review

So this movie was really well reviewed and the trailers looked really great, but I was really disappointed in this movie.

I am all for the zombie movie genre, The Walking Dead is my second favorite TV show, but this movie just didn't click for me. I mean the story line was good, and the graphics were good, and the acting was great, the movie itself just didn't interest me. Well I guess you can say that if the movie didn't interest me, then the story line or the acting didn't resonate in my mind for it come off as interesting. I will say that this is one of the greater Arnold Schwarzenegger's greater acting roles and Abigail Breslin did a great job with their roles. I don't know, maybe it was just the timing, maybe I need to sit down and watch it again, but the first time that I saw it, it didn't work for me.

If you're into the whole dramatic take on the zombie genre, then this movie is for you. The action is virtually non-existent and the take on the zombie outbreak isn't exactly the same thing as from other successful takes on it. Maggie is a very different film and now that I'm thinking about it, I'm going to give it another chance because it's not the typical run of the mill version of what zombies are. I'm pretty sure that this isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea and I don't think it's going to be a hit among a lot of people, so I'm not going to recommend it to anyone.

Sorry Arnold, hope you have better luck with Terminator Genisys.
