A Nice Hot Cup of Tea

You meet the best people ever at the most random times of your life.

I was always told that you never see good things coming when you're focused on doing things for yourself. They always say that when you work hard to improve the overall quality of your life, things start to fall in place. The social aspects become better, the money comes rolling in and you improve on the people around you. Now how those things come about is what makes for a good story to tell in the future when you're old and grey lol. Like you could be at the bar getting a random drink alone and bump into someone who just wanted to have a conversation, in turn they are someone with a pretty awesome job and they put you on. Or you could be out in the parking lot of the grocery story and help someone load groceries in their car because they need assistance and they turn out to be related to someone who can help you out in the long run. Or you could simply be scrolling through Twitter to follow like minded people for one of your beloved projects and you run into someone with the same goals and mindset that you have, all because you decided to search for people to make your project better. I know most of my followers don't believe in God, luck or good timing, but I do and I chalk all of that up to just being at the right place at the right time time, due to doing all of the right things that God wanted you to do in life.

And for that I'm forever humbled and grateful.

Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.

I say all of that to say this, you never know who is going to enhance your life, whether it be for a season for forever, you just have to be ready. There a billions of people in this world, so finding someone that has been in a similar situation or can understand your life's journey isn't a completely foreign concept. What's truly amazing is that you could be away from each other thousands of miles but you still beat the same story. The one thing that is universal about life is the stories that it teaches us, while we may learn them in different classroom, the basics and conclusion are all the same.

Get better every single day.

When I met Natalie it was instantaneous how we connected, and in large part it's because of our blogging style and aspirations. Over the past year and some change I've met a whole host of bloggers and I've become really great friends to a select few. But with Natalie we talked and talked and talked some more, and with each conversation it was more and more apparent of how similar our life stories were in some aspects, and for me and my crazy life that was hard to find. On top of that it was pretty awesome to see how our personalities meshed and how eventually our jokes lined up and now making fun of each other and throwing shade has all come in stride. The best part apart Natalie that I simply adore is her English accent and how she always makes those yee haw impersonations of mine lol. Basically the jokes never end with this  young woman lol.

It's not about where, or how you got the opportunities,
It's about what you do with the opportunities once you're given them.

At the end of the day I simply do not question the universe, I don't ask why or how things happen, I simply appreciate the life lesson and reap whatever comes of them. Luckily for me I've met someone that's the epitome of excellence when it comes to knowing what life is about. I always tell you guys how lucky I am to meet great people at random times and places, well this is that time where I meet someone great and I can't believe that I actually know them. The sweetness, the intelligence, the charisma, the comedic routines, the inspiration, the dreaming, the hard working and most importantly the respect that she demands by simply carrying herself with grace and such style can't be quantified on any scale. At this point in my life I'm at the age where I know which people are going to stick around for the long haul, it's embedded in their character and refined by their actions, and 10 years from now I'm going to look back on this blog and think to myself about this moment and how it defined a great friendship.

Ladies and gentlemen it's with extreme humbleness that I introduce Ms. Natalie of Quietly Ambitious. Take the time to get to know her, she's worth the trouble.
