Well of course when I did this series I just knew I had to include my birthday twin in here. It's been about seven years since we've been friends, but don't quote me on that, I've been known to get it wrong lol. But none the less the only way to sum up this friendship would probably be that of two siblings that randomly send each other things to look at that we think is funny lol. That's all we pretty much do at this point, act like old people in each other messages, and there's not a thing wrong with that. I chose that picture above because that's the face that she makes on a daily basis, she's actually very happy in this picture, she has definitely perfected the Kanye face lol.
But this is an actual picture of her smiling and looking great.
Time and time again we have deep conversations where I want to be one of those people that want to give up and act up all kind of ways, but she won't allow me. She's always using great points from her own personal life to show me that even the most messed up versions of ourselves have the ability to push through and get what we want. I don't know if there is another person that I talk to semi daily that doesn't get on my nerves like Summer for the simple fact that we both have reached that point where we are just old and don't feel like being bothered by any of that stupid stuff that life seems to only have to offer. It's pretty great having that mature friend that just understands life how you see it and shares that same point of view. It's pretty rare these days and I don't take it for granted, not for one second.
At the end of the day you have to count your blessings when it comes to the people you call friends. The longevity isn't there like it use to be and people are more and more for themselves. Our friendship was from a mutual friend and it just managed to stay on par for the most part because we both know how life goes and we just stay ourselves. They say that opposites attract, but when you have two people that mirror each other then that attracts them as well. Recently Summer was just married and I couldn't be any happier for her because she really deserves it.
